Other Helpful Reference Books
In addition to the categories mentioned here, there exists a variety of other types of specialized reference sources that
assist the researcher. The important thing is to use the proper subject heading to locate them. To the name of the country
and the term "History" you can add such subdivisions as:
- Statistics
- Book Reviews
- Book Reviews
- Chronology
- Maps
- Outlines, syllabi, etc.
For biographical sources and historical atlases simply add the subdivisions "Biography" and "Historical Geography - Maps," respectively, without employing "History" as the term in the subject heading sequence.
