Area Studies

This section is arranged by region and then by country. The Government Publications Division owns several microfilm collections that cover multiple countries and regions. The contents of the collections are described in entries 85-92. To facilitate use of these large sets of documents, the reels covering a particular country or region have been listed separately and will refer back to the main collection for a descriptive annotation. Since sets are listed once under their primary category, the subject index should be used to identify all collections containing information on a country regardless of where it is located in the guide.
