- A comprehensive site with specially important links to Mass Spectrometry, useful science, and software. Contains detailed list of analytical techniques and gives links to other internet sites. Points to appropriate information resources: tutorials, journals, software, etc. Links to Environmental Measurement Technology web page that has information on hazardous chemicals in fires, industrial emissions, PCB's in the air, etc.

- An edited mirror site of the Swedish Umeå University web page. Covers spectroscopy, analytical methods and techniques, NMR, sample preparation, and other information sources on the web.

- A comprehensive site covering analytical techniques and information sources. Atomic, electron, mass, and x-ray spectroscopy; chromatography; NMR; automated, radiochemical, and thermal methods are included.

- An educational web page. Introductory material gives a review of electromagnetic radiation and spectrum; a discussion of the absorption, emission and scattering of light; and an overview of quantitative methods. Also covers atomic spectroscopy. Sections on molecular and material spectroscopy are under construction.

- A comprehensive, well designed internet site. Includes a list of mass spectrometry groups, companies, resources, and software. Provides searching capability of the site, the world wide web, and newsgroups.
- WebSpectra: Problems in NMR and IR Spectroscopy
- WebSpectra provides chemistry students with a searchable library of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Infrared (IR) spectroscopy problems. A wide variety of compounds and their spectra are available for interpretation and have been organized in categories from Beginning to Advanced.

- ACS: Medicinal Chemistry
- Lists online journals, general web sites (i.e., WWW-Virtual-Library-Pharmacy, searchable database of OTC drug products, the European Drug Regulatory Authorities Network page, etc.) and commercial sites (Sigma Chemical, Cambridge Software).
- BioInformatics Web Server
- Resides at the Johns Hopkins University and includes Prot-Web, which is a collection of protein databases. Among these are OWL (protein sequence), NRL-3D (sequence structure), EC-Enzyme (enzyme classification), and others. Lists other biological databases housed at the University; links to other servers and software sites from around the world.
- ChemDex: Biological Chemistry
- Contains information about biological chemistry; links to a variety of resources on the Internet. The Key List connects to BioMedNet, PharmWeb, Bio Online, etc. Other links connect to Harvard, MIT, Switzerland, Japan, England, NIH, etc. Also includes educational and medical web sites.
- Enzyme
- A databank of enzyme nomenclature. The Nomenclature Committee of the IUBMB provides most of the information included. Contains the following for each entry: EC number, recommended and alternative names, catalytic activity, cofactors. Includes links to documents, services, related tools, and other databases.
- ExPASy Molecular Biology Server
- A server at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics dedicated to the analysis of protein sequences and structures. Has links to databases, services, tools, molecular biology resources, and other major servers. This is a searchable web site.
- Frontiers in Bioscience
- Contains links to general information on enzymes, to modifying enzymes, and restriction enzyme databases. Provides access to other databases and tools
- HandiLinks To Biochemistry Institutes
- A hierarchical index to the internet which was designed to find information quickly and efficiently. The list to Biochemistry Institutes contains mostly university departments and research institutes with links to information about them.
- Industrial Medicinal Chemistry
- A lists of links to company homepages (Ciba, Eli Lilly, Merck).
- NetBiochem
- Designed to be a complete medical biochemistry center. Links lead to topics such as heme and iron metabolism, macromolecules, membranes, nucleic acids, purines and pyrimidines. The text files included may be searched with WAIS and can be downloaded through anonymous ftp.
- Protein Crystallography
- Covers information on research being conducted at Glasgow University. Includes research on glycoprotein hormones, light harvesting complex III, potential vaccines, macrophage inhibiting proteins, G protein-coupled receptors, etc. Provides information about the researchers and the University.
- SCOP: Structural Classification of Proteins
- Giving relationships between all proteins whose structures are known is the intent of the database. Detailed structural and evolutionary relationship is shown through description of family, superfamily, and fold.
