The SDSU Library has a good collection of American Indian reference books, general books, and journals in the field. To search for books or periodical titles, search the online catalog called the
PAC.
Books on the PAC
Using the PAC (online catalog at SDSU), check for books under subjects, words, author, or titles.
The primary subject for books on American Indians or Native Americans is "Indians of North America." However, if you are seeking books on a specific tribe or topic, use that name. Some examples are the following:

Reference Books
Most of the books on American Indians are shelved in the book stacks on the
3rd floor of Love Library under the call number range E 55 - E 99.
However, the reference books are located in Reference Services on the 1st
