Finding Materials at Other Libraries

No time for Interlibrary Loan (or not eligible for ILL services at SDSU)? Here are some tips for finding materials not held by the SDSU Library.

1.  Search other libraries' catalogs on the web.

2.  Call the reference department of the library you'd like to visit. They can tell you if the item you need is owned at their library.  Ask whether you'll be allowed to check out books.  Sometimes there will be a fee or a wait to get library privileges.   Some local phone numbers are listed below for your convenience:
