Hidden for decades behind ceiling tiles on the bottom floor of San Diego State University’s Hardy Memorial Tower, remnants of two Depression-era murals again saw daylight when they were discovered during routine maintenance in August 2004.

One mural, “NRA Packages,” has been restored and relocated to the Reference Services area of the SDSU Library and Information Access. Plans are in progress to restore and move the second mural, “San Diego Industry.”
