Infodome User Policy
Statement of Purpose:The primary function and purpose of the Library's Web Site, Infodome, is to expand the Library's information resources, services and collections to encompass electronic information on the Internet. The specific content will include: (1) descriptive library information, library policies and library and campus information resources; and (2) links to external library-related resources.
Infodome is intended to include information and links to information related to library resources, services and collections as well as official SDSU documents within the Library's purview, e.g. The General Catalog. When appropriate, Infodome will provide links to the other Library Web Server, Rohan.
The primary target audiences of Infodome are users of the Library - SDSU students, faculty and staff as well as other information seekers.
Infodome is administered by Information Systems and Technology. System administration duties include security, account management, report & log file administration, and hardware and software installation and maintenance. Infodome content is managed by the Infodome Committee which also oversees and coordinates adherence to Infodome Policies and Procedures (including HTML standards and style guidelines).
