Service Pledge
The faculty and staff of SDSU Library are firmly committed to a standard of
excellence that places our patrons and their needs at the core of everything we do.
To achieve this goal, we will:
- Create an environment in which each person is valued and treated with respect and dignity
- Meet patron needs courteously, accurately and promptly
- Build and maintain a high quality collection that is responsive to the information and research needs of diverse learners
- Utilize up-to-date technology and employ innovative strategies in the delivery of our services
- Provide a facility that is comfortable and inviting as a place for study and research
- Offer opportunities for learning about our resources and services
- Facilitate hands-on access to hardware and software tools that enhance the academic experience
- Review and assess the delivery of our services on an ongoing basis
- Welcome the suggestions of our patrons
