Students Approve Library Use Fee
Ask any Library and
Information Access staff member about what service enhancement students
request most frequently and you will be told "longer hours."
Although the Library has increased operating hours over the past two years
and has shifted weekend hours to better meet usage patterns, the requests
for additional Library and computing center hours have continued. Adding
more than 40 general-use PCs to the reserves area proved especially popular,
making the Reserve Book Room the focus of repeated requests for 24-hour
operation. (more)

in SDSU's Undergraduate Honors Program now have a new study room
in the Library, thanks to the generosity of donor Darlene Davies.
At the end of November, the Darlene Gould Davies Honors Study (Room
LL428A) and the newly relocated Henry L. Janssen Honors Council
Room (Room LL428D) were officially dedicated during a two-day celebration
that featured Michael Collier, the poet laureate of Maryland. (more)
