Carol Lea Goyne, head of Technical Services, retired in December 2002 after more than 30 years of service to SDSU.

Lyn Olsson became the special projects and external affairs officer in Library Administration in January 2003.

Lisa Peters joined Library Administration as procurement coordinator in September 2002.

Claudia Stall, Collection Preservation supervisor, retired in December 2002 after more than 29 years of service to SDSU.

Estelita Tatum joined Monographs Acquisitions in November 2002 as a Library Assistant I.

Chimene Tucker became night supervisor, Circulation Desk, in January 2003.

Fall 2002

Beverly Berry, Information Technology Consultant, retired on June 30, 2002, after more than 30 years of service.

Kathleen Coleman, Librarian, retired in May 2002.

Lynn Hawkes joined Library Administration as a temporary Administrative Support Coordinator in July, replacing Jackie Smith.

Jennifer Martinez was appointed Manuscripts and Archives Librarian, Special Collections, in August 2002.

Spring 2002

Rachel Bryson, Library Assistant I, Book Processing/Cataloging Support, joined Technical Services in March 2002.

Linda Kinnard, Library Assistant I, Acquisitions, retired in December 2001 after 25 years of service at the Library.

Brian Lenz, Equipment Systems Specialist, joined Systems and Network Services in November 2001.

Yuan Liang joined the Serials Group as a Binding Assistant in March 2002.

Linda Masse, Administrative Support Coordinator, joined Library Administration as purchasing assistant in February 2002.

Lorraine Quintero, Library Assistant I, accepted a position in Monographs Acquisitions in December 2001.

Gloria Rhodes accepted the position of Outreach/Community Resources Librarian in February 2002.

Dennis Shannon, Equipment Systems Specialist, joined the Student Computing Center in November 2001.

Bill Staninger transferred from General Reference to the Reserve Book Room.

Elke Zobl accepted the position of Library Assistant II for Special Collections in January 2002.
