Annalynn Avendano, library assistant for Circulation, is now working for SDSU's Division of Undergraduate Studies. Jesica Brubaker became the borrowing coordinator for Interlibrary Loan in June 2005. Chuck Dintrone, head of Reference Services, retired in August 2005 after 33 years of service. He now is serving as the interim head of Special Collections. Cristina Favretto, director of Special Collections and University Archives, resigned in July 2005 to accept the post of curator of rare books at the Young Research Library at the University of California, Los Angeles. Leon Geis, analyst/programmer with Information Systems and Technology, retired in September 2005 after 11 years of service. Sue Hollander was appointed temporary health services librarian in April 2005. Jennifer Martinez, manuscripts and archives librarian, left Special Collections in April 2005. Michael McGovern, head of Copy Services, moved to El Paso, Texas, in June 2005. Pat Meyer joined Serials as a library assistant II in June 2005. Devin Morrill joined Circulation in September 2005 as a library assistant I. Kathryn Neal, manuscripts and archives librarian, resigned in August 2005 to accept a position with the University of California, Berkeley. Daniel Rivera, lending coordinator, left Interlibrary Loan in July 2005. Leah Rosenblum was appointed temporary Special Collections librarian in August 2005. John Ross, director of Information Systems and Technology, left the library in July 2005 and is now the information technology coordinator for SDSU's Academic Affairs. Nicole Shibata joined Special Collections as a library assistant I in September 2005. Rebecca Smith, coordinator, Student Computing Center, left in July 2005. Mark Stover, reference librarian, became head of Reference Services in August 2005.
