Donor Hall Exhibit 16.01 Web Photo Gallery
| Art 496-Kidnapped by the Jewel 11/5/01 through 11/29/01 Kidnapped by the Jewel is an exhibit of artist's books created by students enrolled in the Art of the Book (Art 496) and is on display in the Donor Hall during November. The assignment was to create a faceted portrait of a person, place, or thing that holds special meaning and to convey that meaning in paginated layers, enhancing the traditional qualities of the book object through metaphor. Instructor for the course is Michele Burgess, co-director of San Diego's Brighton Press. Click on any photo or photo filename to begin moving through the exhibit's web photo gallery. |
