Bone Alphabets and Prisoners of War; Printed by Diane E. Weiss, The Figment Press, Mill Valley, CA/Signa Houghteling, Book Worker - Accordian book of binder's essay on handicrafts made by prisoners of the Napoleonic wars in 19th century England. On watercolor paper lined with handmade plant fiber paper. Acrylic transfer prints and tipped in Xerox prints on watercolor background motifs by printer with carved bone alphabet from the 19th century, and cut-outs to accommodate the thick letters.
