Giraffes Chuck Dintrone |
| Since I was a youngster, I have been a big fan of giraffes. I have always wondered why. Maybe it is because they are tall and elegant and I'm not. Maybe it is because they are silent and I tend to be very talkative. Maybe it is just because they are giraffes - after all, I am not the only giraffe fan out there. I did not start collecting giraffes until well into adulthood, about 25 years ago. Soon relatives and friends knew of my hobby and I received many giraffes that are either everyday objects made in a giraffe motif (belt rack, stool, salad utensils, planter, mirror) or giraffes with expressions that give them character. |
