Creating Worlds of Delight:
The Work of Elizabeth Chater

Elizabeth Chater (b. 1910) was the first recipient of a M.A. in English with an emphasis on creative writing at San Diego State University, where she later taught English until her retirement in 1977. Although Chater’s early writings were initially in the science fiction and mystery genres, she later began writing Regency and Georgian romance novels.
