Search Tips for ITS Media CatalogThe ITS Media Catalog is fully searchable web-based database. 'Keyword search' is the default search method. If you are unsure of a title or are using broad subject areas to browse, use this method. This is the best and most useful search option. By typing in any key word(s) that may appear in an item's title or description, a list of items that have either the word(s) in the title or the description will appear. In addition to 'keyword' searching, you have several search options: a pull down menu will allow you to search by 'title', 'title by series', 'subject' and additional criteria. You may also tailor your search by specifying format, language, sound type and year. However, if you are doing a general search we recommend you keep your search as simple as possible in order to return the greatest number of possible matches. Once you have located a desired title, write down the number that appears in the “Note” field (e.g.: TV234V, or MP123). Please include any letter that appears at the end of the call number sequence. Any title that ends in an “R” is restricted and cannot be broadcast to the Media Center. Bring your title and call number to the Media Center Circulation Desk. Requesting to see the item
